Yokohama World Time Attack Edition Evo 350mm Brembo Rear Brake Adapter Kit (No spacers)
In a nutshell, this is a cheaper version of our Evo 350mm Brembo Rear Brake Adapter Kit to meet the rules of the Yokohama World Time Attack Challange. The WTAC rule 10.1(c) states:
“Original hub location must be retained”
We have a number of customers competing at Yokohama's World Time Attack Challenge and we ourselves are competing at WTAC - as usual we play fairly and we play by the rules. There were also many of you guys asking for a rear big brake upgrade with no spacers, sooooooo we eliminated the 6mm hub spacers and the trick to installation is to remove a bit of material from the caliper. The size of material to remove is about the size of your thumb tip. This is required to make room for the OEM knuckle.

ABOUT THE EVO BREMBO CALIPERS
We use the excellent and cheap Brembo brake calipers from the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 (they are all the same) – newer in both design and age it also features dual bleed nipples, quick pad changes and the all important dust boots... unless you like dirt grinding down your pistons or having to do frequent rebuilds.
They are also larger and more rigid which all add up to give 'more' braking, better feel, better modulation and ultimately better control on the limit. Parts are everywhere so your choices are virtually endless!

ABOUT THE 350x20mm ROTORS
We chose this size rotor for an ideal brake balance bias and a bolt on fit. It's a Nissan 370z rear rotor so replacement parts are easy to get from budget friendly 1-piece to race-ready 2-piece. These are BIG to provide enormous stopping leverage and heat handling capabilities to ultimately give you incredible brakes.
Balancing brake bias required some math and rounded off to the nearest percent, our bias calculations put the “gold standard” Skyline GTR32/33/34 front and rear Brembos at 70:30. Using the front Alpha Omega Brakes (EVO 350mm Brembo) with a theoretical rear “EVO 350mm Brembo” gave us a super excellent 69:31 bias. To double check our math we turned to Google and found this page: http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/bias-calculator
Using that calculator it also puts the standard GTR Brembo setup at 70:30 and the Alpha Omega Brakes Front and Rear (EVO 350mm Brembo) at 68:32 – a negligible 1% difference to our calcs. Here’s an interesting fact: the R34 Skyline GTR V-Spec 2 Nür / N1 models are the best production GTR34s ever made and they too have a brake bias of 68:32! It achieves this bias by using a larger rear rotor which is “coincidently” what we’ll be doing.
Thus we found ourselves a winning rotor! The Nissan 370z rear 350x20mm rotors fit the bill like a glove – cheap, fits, buy them anywhere, matches the EVO Brembo rear caliper and the bias is better than gold standard excellent! It’ll also look pretty frigging boss with big 350mm Brembo brakes all round to fill up your wheels.

ABOUT THE ALPHA OMEGA RACING CALIPER ADAPTERS: AEROSPACE BILLET ALLOY
ALPHA OMEGA caliper adapters are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, T6 heat treated. The 7075-T6 alloy is commonly known as "aerospace alloy" because, as you can probably guess, it's used extensively in aircrafts for its light weight and high strength qualities. As with all bigger rotor upgrades there is approximately 3mm of pad overhang which is a small tradeoff for the larger rotor, stronger caliper adapters and just plain awesome brakes.
We make the kit right here in Australia so that you know the quality is excellent.

You need to get the following parts to make it all work:
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5, 6,7, 8 or 9 Brembo rear calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clip) (B.Y.O. or we can supply)
- Nissan 370z rear 350x20mm rotors (B.Y.O. or we can supply)
- Custom brake lines (B.Y.O. or we can supply, application dependant)
Silvia (180SX/S13/S14/S15) drivers who want a functioning handbrake will need to use the R32/R33/R34/Z32 rear drum setup, a very common upgrade.
These are big brakes so you’ll need minimum 17" wheels. We do not keep track of what wheels fit as there are just too many different brands, models, widths, offsets, face types and style combinations. Trimming of dust shield is required. A BM57 17/16” brake master cylinder is recommended.
